To connect the external database, do the following:

  1. Open the Hardware tab in the System Settings window (1).
  2. Select the External Plates Database object in the object tree (2)Go to the External Plates DB object settings panel.
  3. Click the Configuration button to open the Configuration window.(1).
  4. In the External DB connection wizard window that opens, click Click the Configure… button in the appeared window (1).

    If the external database is the Auto-Intellect PC database  database then you can add numbers with the help of Vehicle Plate Search program the LP numbers using the Event search in the Recognizers DBs dialogue window (see Creating the Active tracking database section in the reference manual Auto Intellect software package: Operator's guide).

  8. To add a new table to the selected database, enter the table name in the New Table field (4) and click the Add button (5).

    • The name of the new table should not contain numbers and be a reserved keyword of Microsoft SQL Server (for details, see Reserved Keywords (Transact-SQL)).
    • The new table will have a structure similar to the one indicated in the Table drop-down list (2).


  9. Click OK (46) to save , change or the changes and close the External DB connection wizard dialog window.

    To quit the external External DB connection wizard without saving the changes, click Cancel.
