Before starting Uragan setup, create and set up the video subsystem objects in the Intellect platform: Video Capture Card and Camera. For the object setup procedure, see the Intellect Software Package. The Administrator's Guide document.

Create and set up the Radar software module, if necessary.

To set up the Traffic DetectorDetection module, use the following procedure:

1. Select the camera to be used by the Traffic DetectorDetection .
2. Specify the time depth of the database archive.
3. Specify the time period for statistics update.
4. Set the road markings.
5. Import or export the road markings file.
6. Set the parameters for joint operation of the Traffic DetectorDetection and the Radar modules, if the latter is used Speed traps server modules.
7. Specify the criteria for detecting the traffic jam start and end.
8. Specify the names criteria for detecting the traffic movement directionsjam end.
9. Specify the limitations names for some traffic characteristicstraffic movement directions to be displayed in the Traffic Monitor window.
10. Select the events to be generated by the system from the list of all available eventsrecorded to the database and to generate alams when using the Traffic Monitor window.
