Możesz dodawać kamery wideo oraz serwery IP do systemu korzystając z Kreatora Dodawania Urządzeń IP.
Aby otworzyć Kreator Dodawania Urządzeń IP, naciśnij link Dodaj urządzenie znajdujący się na dole listy urządzeń na danym serwerze.

Gdy Kreator zostanie otwarty przy pierwszym uruchomieniu Klienta, automatycznie rozpocznie się procedura wykrywania nowych urządzeń. Przy kolejnych uruchomieniach, aby uruchomić Kreator, należy nacisnąć przycisk Wyszukaj. Wyświetlony zostanie pasek postępu reprezentujący proces odnajdowania urządzeń.

You can add video cameras and IP servers to the system by using the IP Device Discovery Wizard.
To open the IP Device Discovery Wizard, click the Add device link at the end of the Server device list.

When the Wizard is opened for the first time after the Client is started, automatic search for new devices will begin. During subsequent sessions, to launch the Wizard you must click the corresponding button. A progress bar indicates search progress.
To stop devices search at any time, click the Stop button.

Wyniki wyszukiwania mogą być filtrowane na dwa sposoby:
- Ze względu na status. Aby ukryć urządzenia z danym statusem, odznacz odpowiednie pola wyboru.
- Ze względu na producenta, model, bądź adres IP. Aby to uczynić, wpisz frazę w pole Filtr. Poniższy przykład filtruje wyniki tak, by były wyświetlane tylko urządzenia LG, których nazwy modeli zawierają LW, a adresy IP liczbę 192.
Istnieje także możliwość filtrowania wyników do konkretnej podsieci.

When adding a device, you can immediately set several configuration options, such as:

In the Object Tree, added devices will be sorted by ID.
Select an archive and set the recording parameters (see Binding a camera to an archive).
W drzewie obiektów, obiekty są sortowane poprzez ID.
Wybór archiwum oraz parametry zapisywania do archiwum (zobacz: Przypisywanie kamery do archiwum).
Nie - kamera jest podłączona do danego archiwum, nie nagrywa do archiwum;
Zawsze - ciągłe nagrywanie;
Po detekcji ruchu (ustawienie domyślne) - narzędzie VMD oraz automatyczna zasada do zapisywania do określonego archiwum są tworzone dla dodawanej kamery. Domyślnie, nagrywanie jest zatrzymywane, gdy detekcja zdarzenia zakończy się.

On motion (default setting) - a VMD tool and an automatic rule for writing to the specified archive are automatically created for the camera you are adding. By default, recording stops when an event detection is finished.

- Camera coordinates (latitude, longitude, azimuth) which are used when the camera is added to the geo map (see Adding video cameras).
In addition, three modes are available for adding a device to a configuration. These are described in the following table.

The IP device is added to the configuration with the settings that have been previously specified for a device of the same model in the configuration. Select a device of the same model (the "template device") in the list.
Only devices of the same model are shown in the list of search results for choosing the template device.
The following settings will be copied from the template device to the new, similar device: firmware, video stream settings, buffering settings, Other settings (see The Video Camera Object), and Other settings for Microphone and Speaker objects, if these are configured for the template device.
This mode is best when multiple cameras of the same model are in use at a site. If this is the case, we advise to:
Add and configure one device.
Add the remaining devices, copying settings from the "template device" as decsribed previously.
Podczas dodawania nowego urządzenia, domyślna wartość pre-alarm (czas trwania nagrania przed rozpoczęciem alarmu) jest określona na 3 sekundy (zobacz: Przypisywanie kamery do archiwum).

Dodatkowo, istnieją trzy tryby dostępne dla dodawania urządzenia do konfiguracji. Są one opisane w tabeli.

Aby dodać urządzenie IP do konfiguracji:
Wybierz ustawienia urządzenia, jeśli jest to konieczne.
Wybierz tryb dodawania urządzenia do konfiguracji.
Urządzenie zostanie następnie dodane do konfiguracji.
Podczas pojedynczej zmiany konfiguracji, możesz dodać pojedyncze urządzenie lub wszystkie urządzenia wyświetlone w wynikach wyszukiwania urządzeń (nie licząc urządzeń, których kompatybilność nie jest zagwarantowana). Aby dodać jedno urządzenie, naciśnij 
. Aby dodać wszystkie urządzenia, naciśnij Dodaj wszystkie.
Jeśli nie zostaną podane dane dostępu do urządzenia, otworzy się okno dialogowe z prośbą autoryzacji dostępu:

Jeśli wszystkie urządzenia IP zostaną dodane jednocześnie, ten sam tryb (a przez to te same ustawienia) zostanie nałożony dla wszystkich urządzeń. |
Jeśli urządzenie IP nie jest widoczne w wynikach wyszukiwania (być może ze względu na lokalizację w innej podsieci, lub połączenie zostało tymczasowo przerwane), istnieje możliwość manualnego dodania urządzenia. Aby to uczynić, wybierz wybierz typ dodawanego urządzenia IP (posiadającego lub nieposiadającego pamięci typu edge), producenta, model, oraz wpisz adres IP oraz numer portu w polu oznaczonym neutralnym kolorem.
Następnie dodaj urządzenie do konfiguracji poprzez zastosowanie wcześniejszych kroków.
Aby usunąć urządzenia IP, zaznacz je na liście urządzeń (poprzez naciskanie ich lewym przyciskiem myszy, przy naciśniętym klawiszu CTRL dla zaznaczania wielu urządzeń) i naciśnij przycisk Usuń.

To add an IP device to a configuration:
Set device settings, if necessary.
Select a mode for adding the device to the configuration.
The device is then added to the configuration.
During a single configuration change, you can add a single device or all devices listed in the search results (other than devices for which compatibility is not guaranteed). To add one device, click the button. To add all devices, click the Add all button.
If you set no individual access parameters while adding hardware, a dialog window appears for setting unified access parameters.

Remember that if you add all IP devices at the asme time, the same mode and settings will be applied to all of them. |
If an IP device is not shown in the search results (beacuse it is located on another subnet or contact has been temporarily lost), you can add it manually. To do so, in the neutral-colored area above the search results, select the type of IP device that you are adding (with or without edge storage), specify an IP address and port, and select the manufacturer and model.
Then add the device to the configuration by following the steps described previously.
To remove IP devices, select them in the device list (by left-clicking one or more devices, holding down the CTRL key to select multiple devices) and click the Delete button.
