To export a snapshot / frame, click the Image Removed button while viewing video. A JPG file will be exported to a folder specified in the Server settings Image Added button when viewing the video image.

To export video image, do as followsthe following:

1. Switch to Archive the archive mode (see Viewing video archives through the web clientWeb-Client).

2. On the timeline, set the timeline indicator to the location that matches the beginning of the export interval. Click the Image Removed button Image Added button. Set the indicator to the location that matches the end of the export interval. Click the Image Removed button Image Added button.

3. Click the Image Removed button Image Added button.

4. Select the video export format (1). If necessary, add comments to the export (3). You can export videos to

   avi

   the AVI,

   mkv

   MKV,

   mp4

   MP4 and

   exe

   EXE formats.

   The comments will be displayed as captions when the exported video is played back.

   In macOS, you can export to the AVI, MKV, MP4 formats. Files with the .exe extension are not supported in this OS.

   
   

5. If you are exporting a video in .avi to the AVI format, select the compression level (2).  4 – minimum Low level—minimum compression, maximum file size;  6 – High level—maximum compression, minimum file size.

   If necessary, add comments for the export (3). The comments will be shown as captions when the exported video is played

6. Click the Export button EXPORT button (4).

The export progress bar is displayed on the drop-down panel as in the Client (see Viewing export progress).

When the export is complete, the panel color changes to green.
Image Modified
To download an exported file, click its name on the panel.
