When working with face lists, you can configure the macro to trigger (see General information about the macros), when:
- the recognized face is present in the selected list;
- the recognized face is absent in the selected list;
- it is necessary to recognize the presence of the specific face from a list;
- it is necessary to recognize the absence of the specific face from a list;
- the recognized face is absent in all created lists.
Presence of the recognized face in the selected face list
In this case, the parameters for starting the macro are the following:
- The required list (1) is selected in the Start conditions field in the Face recognition list.
- The field 2 is empty.
- The Presence radio button is set (3).
Absence of the recognized face in the selected face list
In this case, the parameters for starting the macro are the following:
- The required list (1) is selected in the Start conditions field in the Face recognition list.
- The field 2 is empty.
- The Absence radio button is set(3).
Recognition of the presence of a specific face from the face list
In this case, the parameters for starting the macro are the following:
- The required list (1) is selected in the Start conditions field in the Face recognition list.
A specific person is selected in the field 2
To set an automatic response to an FR event, do as follows:
- Create a macro (see Create Macros).
- As a starting condition, select the Face Recognition event and the desired list (1,see Configuring filters for event-driven macros).
- By default, the macro is triggered by recognition of any face from the list. If required, you can specify a particular person whose facial recognition will trigger the macro (2)

Info title Note To select another person, clear the field 2 field and re-open the list.
- Program an action or a sequence of actions to be performed in response to an identification of a recognized face against the designated list (see Settings specific to actions). If the response involves initiating an alarm, you can configure the Dialog Board to filter Alarm Initiated by Macro Command events (see Configure the Dialog Board).

Recognition of the absence of a specific face from the face list
In this case, the parameters for starting the macro are the following:
- The required list (1) is selected in the Start conditions field in the Face recognition list.
A specific person is selected in the field 2.

Absence of the recognized face in all created face lists
In this case, in the Start conditions field in the Face recognition list, select Not listed.
