When working with vehicle license plate lists, you can configure the macro (see General information about the macros) to trigger when:
- the recognized license plate is present in the selected list;
- the recognized license plate is absent in the selected list;
- it is necessary to recognize the presence of the specific license plate from a list;
- it is necessary to recognize the absence of the specific license plate from a list;
- the recognized license plate is absent in all created lists.
Presence of the recognized license plate in the selected list
In this case, the parameters for starting the macro are the following:
- The required list (1) is selected in the Start conditions field in the License plate recognition list.
- The field 2 is empty.
- The Presence radio button is set (3).
Absence of the recognized license plate in the selected list
In this case, the parameters for starting the macro are the following:
- The required list (1) is selected in the Start conditions field in the License plate recognition list.
- The field 2 is empty.
- The Absence radio button is set (3).
Presence of the specific license plate from the selected list
In this case, the parameters for starting the macro are the following:
- The required list (1) is selected in the Start conditions field in the License plate recognition list.
A specific license plateis selected in the field 2
To set an automatic response to an FR event, do as follows:
- Create a macro (see Create Macros).
- As a starting condition, select the License plate recognition event and the desired list (1, see Configuring filters for event-driven macros).
- By default, the macro is triggered by recognition of any number from the list. If required, you can specify a particular number whose recognition will trigger the macro (2)

- Program an action or a sequence of actions to be performed in response to an identification of a recognized LP against the designated list (see Settings specific to actions). If the response involves initiating an alarm, you can configure the Dialog Board to filter Alarm Initiated by Macro Command events (see Configure the Dialog Board).
- The Presence radio button is set (3).
Absence of the specific license plate from the selected list
In this case, the parameters for starting the macro are the following:
- The required list (1) is selected in the Start conditions field in the License plate recognition list.
A specific license plateis selected in the field 2.

- The Absence radio button is set (3).
Absence of the recognized license plate in all created lists
In this case, in the Start conditions field in the License plate recognition list, select Not listed.
