SIP-devices are IP devices, mainly intercoms and call panels, connected to Intellect Axxon PSIM via the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).

Axxon PSIM supports two codecs for data exchange with SIP-devices: PCMA and PCMU.

Axxon PSIMIntellect can act both as a server and as a client. The SIP server for the Intellect Axxon PSIM SIP client can be either third-party Asterisk software or the IntellectAxxon PSIM's SIP server.

SIP-devices are configured on the settings panel of the SIP-terminal object created on the basis of the Computer object on the Hardware tab of the System Settings dialog box, and also on the settings panel of its child objects.

  3. Create and configure objects corresponding to address books (see Configuring address book of SIP-terminal).
  4. Configure special terminal numbers (see Configuring special numbers of SIP-terminal).
  5. If necessary, create and configure macros for working with a SIP-terminal (see Macros for working with SIP-terminal).
  6. Configure terminal numbers (see Configuring numbers of SIP-terminal).
  7. Select a speaker, microphone, and camera for each SIP-operator (see Selecting speaker, microphone and camera for SIP-operator).
