To register the interactive map in the Intellect Axxon PSIM system, create the Map interface object.

When setting up the Map object, specify the position of the map Map interactive window on the screen.

To register the map Map and specify its position on the screen, do the following:

1. Open the Interfaces tab of the System Settings window (1).
2. Create a Map object under (2) on the basis of the Display object, or select the corresponding object in the tree, or choose an existing Map object (2).

3. When creating a Map object, specify the ID and the name for the object, and select the Display object on the basis of which the Map object is created Specify an id and name for the Map object, and choose the Display object to become the parent of the map (3).
4. Setup Set the Map window position on screen in one of the following ways:
   1. Manually:
      1. Set the coordinates of the position of the interactive Map window by changing the values in the X and Y fields (4). The values in the X and Y fields correspond to the coordinates of the upper top left corner of the interactive Map window , on the screen and are expressed as a percentage of the corresponding horizontal and vertical screen dimensions (4), respectively.  
      2. Specify Set the width (W) and the height (H) of the interactive Map window , displayed on the screen (5). The values in the W and H fields are expressed as a percentage of the corresponding dimensions of the screen (5)horizontal and vertical screen dimensions, respectively. 
         
      3. From the Monitor drop-down list (6), select the number of the monitor in the system for which the coordinates are specifying (6)set.  
   2. With a Using the test window:
      1. Click X button (7). The Specify dimensions test window opens.

      2. Put Position the opened test window to a desired position on screen(s), set the test window required size.
      3. Click the OK . The button. As a result, the coordinates in the X, Y, W, H and Monitor fields will be filled with values set according to the dimensions and position of the test window position. 
5. Set the Over all windows checkbox (8), if If the Map window should be always on top, set the Over all windows checkbox (8).
6. Press the Apply button to save all changes made to the settings (9).

8. Set the Allow moving checkbox (9), if you want to change the position and the size of the Map manually.
9. Click the Apply button (10) to save the changes.

Setting up the position of the Map on the screen is completeThis completes the setup of the map position on the screen.
