Macros are used to automate the actions work of the operator. They inform the operator or Operator. In Axxon PSIM, macros help to inform the Operator/administrator about software and hardware failures, automate the backup archiving process, etcand much more.

Let’s consider the an example of a macro that generates the voice message an SMS and sends it to the specified telephone phone number. The A message should be is sent on if a condition – the ‘write to disk’ error. To create the is met—an error occurs when video from Camera 1 is written to a disk.

To create a macro for sending the voice a message, do the following:

10. Choose Send Message in the Action column Select the Send Message action (9).
11. If a voice message is to be sent soma time later the event occurs, specify the Specify the Response sending delay (sec.s) parameter value if you want to send a message after a certain period after an event has occurred (10).

If the Hidden checkbox is not checked, the macro will need manual activation, which is done by clicking isn't set (3), you must start a macro manually. To do this, click the Run button in the Main control menu and by selecting the macro in select a macro from the list (2).
