The ability to configure multiple Hikvision cards depends on the Hikvision controller/terminal model. Configuring Configuration of multiple Hikvision cards will be illustrated by an example of the Hikvision 26X DS-K26x series controller. Set up You must configure Hikvision card groups before setting up the multicard configuration beforehand (see Configuring the Hikvision card groups). |
To configure multiple Hikvision cards, do the following:
- Go to the settings panel of the Hikvision Multicard config object settings panel object.
- Check Set the Offline authentication box (1) to checkbox to enable authentication using Super Password for an autonomous Password when the access point is offline.
- From the Number drop-down list (2), select a the configuration ID number (from 1 to 20) corresponding to the configuration 's ID number in the Hikvision controller.
- Select a time zone from From the Timezone drop-down list (3), select a time zone.
- Select an authentication type from From the Authentication type (4) drop-down list, select the authentication type:
- Local Authentication is performed by regular user IDs —to access, you need to present only the required identifiers (cards). You You can link add up to 8 eight card groups with to this authentication type.
- Local Auth. and Remotely Open authentication automatically passes local ID check results to a remote operator for taking access decision. You can link up to 7 card groups with —after you present identifiers, an operator will receive a request for remote opening. You can add up to seven card groups to this authentication type.
- Local Auth. and Super Password authentication extends local ID check with the request for —to access, you need to present identifiers and then enter the Super Password.
- To add a card group to the Card group column (62), select a group in the Multicard combination area (51) panel and press click the button button.
- To remove a group from the Card group column (62), select it and click the button the required group and click the button.
- Use the and buttons the and buttons to move a card group within the Card group column (62).
In the Sw. times column (7), you can use the and Use the and buttons to change the number of different card swipes required for granting accessfor granting access in the Sw. times column (3).
Info title Note. The maximum time between card readings/password entries and other authorization methods should must not exceed the time specified in the Multiauthentication swipe time field (see Configuring the Hikvision door).
