Working You can work with the Search for department window is performed while when searching for a department (see the Going to department searchsection), replacing transferring a user from one department to another (see the see Transferring a user to a different department section), and while when creating departments hierarchy (see the Creating departments department's hierarchy section).

Working with the Search for department window is performed as follows:

  1. Enter the complete or partial name of a department in the Name field if it's required (1).
  2. Enter the department ID in the ID field if it's required (2).
  3. Enter the external ID of an object in the External ID field if it's required (3).
  4. From the Access level drop-down list, select the name of an access level which is to be assigned to the required department (4). If it's required click the Image Removed button . You can also search for an access level. Click the Image Added button and search for an access level (see the see Working with the Search  Search access level window section).
  5. Click the Enter key .Number of found departments will be displayed (5) and the on the keyboard. As a result, a list of departments satisfying to that meet the specified search parameters (6)will be displayed. Search is case-insensitive. All objects, the corresponding fields of which contain the specified values will be found.

To sort the search results, click the left mouse button on title header of the corresponding column.

While When you double click on the department name in the search results, the the Search for department window will be closed, and the department will be selected in the departments tree or in the form from which the the Search for department window was opened.Department search is completed.
