Axxon One integrates embedded analytics for multiple cameras. You can find analytics in the list of supported devices in the Analytics column.
Camera embedded analytics is the ability to process a video stream directly on the camera to identify specific events or objects. For example, this can include face recognition, motion detection, person or vehicle counting, detection of an entrance or exit area, and so onBy the date the documentation in created, the Axxon One software package includes integrated analytics for multiple video cameras (see Drivers Pack release notes).
If Axxon One supports built-in analytics for a device, then detectors can be created (see Creating detection tools).the device embedded analytics, you can create detectors from that camera (see Configuring detectors and their sub-detectors).

Embedded Temperature Detection Tool
Axxon One supports selected models of thermal cameras with an embedded temperature detection tool ( the Drivers Pack documentation, body temperature detection). This detection tool recognizes human faces on video, and performs temperature measurement on them.
Normally, you should set up a detection tool as follows:
...
Using the camera manufacturer's documentation, set up the detection tool in the Axxon One VMS.
Note | ||
---|---|---|
| ||
As a rule, a camera requires specifying the temperature threshold, upon reaching which the detection tool would trigger an alarm. |
...
If required, set up macros to perform pre-defined actions upon triggering the detector (see Configuring macros).
|
If the camera supports Motion mask, it is displayed in the preview window when you configure the embedded detector.
Some cameras are capable to display a bounding box over the facial image along with corresponding temperature readings. If this option is available, it can be activated via the web interface of a particular camera.
Obtaining metadata
Axxon One is also able to obtain metadata directly from certain video cameras. For example, metadata can be received from a Bosch IVA system.
To receive metadata from a Bosch IVA, you need to create an IVA object and select Yes in the Record objects tracking list.
ANPR
The VMS can process ANPR data from some cameras' on-board analytics.

Generally, when configuring the embedded analytics you must follow official documentation for the corresponding video camera or parameter description in the Axxon One interface.
Motion Mask
If the camera supports Motion Mask, then when you configure VMD, it will be displayed in the preview window.
If there is motion, but it
...
doesn't exceed the threshold value (because of the
...
sensitivity parameters of the detector), the mask cells are colored green. If
...
there is motion and it generates an event, the cells
...
are colored red.
