You On the Detectors tab, you can check the triggering of detection tools in the Detection Tools tab.To use this option you must perform the following stepsevents of detectors. To do this, do the following:

  1. In the

  3. list of detectors,

  4. highlight the detection tool object whose triggering you need
  5. select the detector, which events you want to check.

  9. Reproduce an event
  10. whose occurrence should trigger the detection tool:
  11. upon the occurrence of which the detector must display a frame in the event feed: start of motion in the frame,
  12. turning the video
  13. camera rotation,
  14. providing
  15. sending sound to an audio device,
  16. etc
  17. and so on.

VMS checks the on/off status of detection tools when they triggered and stopped. Not applicable to detection of: quality loss, position change, disappearance of an object, motion stop and ANPR.  

After the end of triggering, you get the Finished message.

Note
  • If archive recording isn't configured for the camera that corresponds to the detector (see Configuring recording to an archive), then there are no frames in the events from the detector, because frames are taken from archive recordings.
  • If a detector has a start and end event, the current state of such a detector is monitored.
