General information

This action starts a These actions start and stop the slideshow of the layouts on the operator's monitor specific layouts (see Selection and Slideshow of Layouts) on the selected operator monitor for the specified role.

Configuring an action

To configure the Start slideshow action, do the following:

1. Go to the Programming tab.
2. In the Event rules or Cycle rules list, click Create...

2. Select a start condition that triggers a macro (see Configuring start conditions).
3. Click the Image Added button below start conditions.
4. From the drop-down list, select Monitor: Start slideshow.

5. In the Specify monitor number parameter, select the number of the monitor on which you want to start a slideshow. If you select a dash (−) when selecting a monitor, a slideshow starts on the active monitor.
6. In the Slideshow number parameter, select the number of a slideshow. The list starts with a zero. For example, Slideshow #1 in the Layouts interface has the number 0.
7. In the Role parameter, select a role for which the macro will be executed. If you leave the Role field blank, the macro is executed for all roles that have access to this rule.
8. Click the Apply Image Added button.
