Email notifier The E-mail notifier object is used to configure the electronic messages, emails which then can be sent to the user when a macro or an automatic rule is triggeredinitiated.

To create the E-mail notifier objectcreate Email notifier, do the following:
In the list of
devices, click Create and select hardware, click Create...
From the drop-down list, select Email notifier.
- Click the Apply button.

As a result, The E-mail notifier object will appear appears in the list of deviceshardware.

To configure the E-mail notifier objectconfigure Email notifier, do the following:
- In the list of devices
- hardware, select the
- select Email notifier object which needs to be configured (1)

- Activate the Email notifier object by selecting Yes in the Enable list (2).
- In the Name field (3) enter the required name of the E-mail notifier object. Select the mode for sending the E-mail notifications: through AxxonNet or through the specified SMTP Server (4)
- In the Name field, enter the name of Email notifier.
- In the Sending mode parameter, select the mode for sending email notifications:
- AxxonNet;
- SMTP server.

- AxxonNet has a limit of 10 messages a day.
- A message via AxxonNet is sent within a minute.
- In the From parameter, enter the email address from which the messages are sent.
Note title Attention! When using email notification, email servers can disable the user account or deny authentication in some cases. We recommend you to disable all security parameters in your email account beforehand.
- In the Recipients parameter, enter one or several email addresses to which messages will be sent.
Specify the SMTP server settings:
- In the Username parameter, enter the name of the user account used to send messages on the outgoing mail server.
- In the Outgoing mail server parameter, enter the SMTP server of outgoing mail.
- In the Port parameter, enter the number of the port used by the outgoing mail server.
- In the Password parameter, enter the password of the user account on the outgoing mail server.
In the SSL certificate parameter
- In the Outgoing mail server field, enter the outgoing E-mail SMTP Server.
- In the Password field, enter the password of the user account on the outgoing E-mail Server.
- In the Port field, enter the number of the port used by the outgoing E-mail Server. In the SSL certificate field
, specify the path to the SSL certificate file
, if you use this protocol.
If no certificate is specified, but the Use SSL parameter If you don't specify a certificate, but the Use SSL parameter is enabled, then the

Checking Email notification
To check the E-mail notification from the Email notifier objectemail notification via Email notifier, send a test message by clicking the Test the Test button.
When you do this, the following message will be sent to the E-mail email address specified in the the Recipients field field (see Configuring the E-mail notifier objectsee Configuring Email notifier): "Test message".
