You can stop writing on to a certain volume of the an archive. In this case, the data previously written to it will be available for viewing.
To do this, set the Read only checkbox and click the Apply button.

This setting may be is useful when you need to replace the disk if it has some bad sectors, but there shouldn’t mustn't be any "gaps" in the archive. In this case, you should must add a volume to the an archive on a new disk and set the volume on the damaged disk to the Read only mode. |
To do this, do the following:
- Set the Read only checkbox.
- Click the Apply
button.
Writing to a specific archive volume is terminated.
