If a microphone is a part of an IP Serverserver, then you must specify the video camera to which it will be linked is matched in the settings parameters of the given this microphone. When you do this, the the Microphone object will become becomes a child of the specified Camera object.

In all other cases, the Microphone object will is automatically be displayed in the objects object tree as a child object of the video a camera itself.
To configure the Microphone object, perform do the following:
- Go to the Devices tab.
- Select the
- the Microphone object in the objects

- Enable the microphone by selecting Yes in the Enable field (2).
- Enter the name of the microphone in the Name field (3).
- Configure additional microphone parameters (audio codec, bit rate, etc.) in the Other group (4) using their descriptions in the interface of Axxon One or, for more detail, in the official reference documentation of the parent video camera.
Choose a video camera to associate this microphone with (5). As a result of this operation, the selected camera will become a parent object for the microphone.
- Click the Apply button.
The microphone will then be switched to its assigned work mode.
To check the microphone, do as follows:

To check the operation of the microphone, do the following:
- Go to the layout with the required camera and activated microphone
- In the upper left corner of the preview window, click .Say something into your
- left-click the speaker icon .
- Send an audio signal to the microphone.
- If the microphone is configured correctly, you will hear audio from the Server's speakers. You can change volume level with the volume control
- the audio signal is transmitted to the server speakers. To change the volume level, use the slider.
Checking the microphone operation is now complete.
