This type of search allows you to select selecting events in the archive based on the type of event.

To search for events, do the following:

  1. Select From the Event type drop-down list, select the type of events that you want to find (1).

    The search finds moments in the archive containing false alarms

    Triggering

    The search finds moments when detectors generated events

    Recording start

    The search finds the beginning and end of recordings from the specified camera regardless of the initiator

  2. Select an In the Initiator field, select the event initiator from the list (2). Info

    An event initiator can be an operator, a camera input, or any camera detector of a camera, or any activated detector that is activated in the system can act as the event initiator.   3. If it is necessary to find events to which comments were added during alarm triggering, enter the required text in the Comment field to simplify the search for a specific event.

    You can filter events by the Comment field only for the following types:

    • All alarms;
    • Confirmed alarm;
    • Suspicious situation;
    • False alarm.
  4. If necessary, click the button and add more similar search conditions.
  5. Set the search interval (see Setting a search interval).
  6. Click the Search button.

    • To search in the embedded storage of an IP device (for example, a camera or recorder) for events from the embedded detectors, you must synchronize the server and IP device (see Limitations of Axxon One). If you don't perform synchronization, there can be discrepancies between the time of detector events and the time of frames in the archive.
    • Once started, you can stop the search can be stopped at any time. To do this, click the Stop button that appears instead of the Search button.

This starts a search in the archive based on the defined set criteria. Search results are available on the search results panel.
