Operations with the objects, added to the layer
The Map editor utility toolbar is shown on the figure:
The Map editor utility enables to perform the following operations with the objects, added to the layer.

Edit the additional data and type of object’s displaying object icon display as follows:
- Select an object that is to should be edited. Green-pointed frame will appear around the image as a result.
- Call for the Edit object dialog window of theMap editorutility in one of the three ways:
- Perform the command of the main menu Operations with objects -> Edit object;
- Click the button on the toolbar;
- Perform the Edit command of the context menu (is called by right-clicking the object’s object image).
- The type of the selected object is automatically displayed in the Object field (1).
- ID of the selected object is automatically displayed in the Identifier field (2).
If necessary, change the type of object’s displaying object icon display with the help of the Type of display switch (3).

Edit the font, color, background or frame size of object’s object name as follows:
- Select object’s the name of the object, which font, color or background of which is to should be edited. Green-pointed frame will appear around the image as a result.
- Open the Properties panel (see Editing object properties using the Properties panel).
- Set X and Y coordinates of the left upper corner of the text frame, as well as frame 's height and width (w and h) and clockwise rotation Angle (1).
- In the Color field, select the object 's name font color (2).
- In the Background color field, select the object 's name background color (3).
- Click ... in the Font field (4). The standard Windows dialog window Font of the Map editor utility is opened. This dialog box can also be called by main menu command Operations with objects > Set the font
- In the opened dialog window, set the required font or color parameters.
- Click Ok the OK button to save the changes.
Editing the font, color color or background of object name is completedcomplete.

Edit the object’s object size as follows:
- Select the object, the size of which is to should be edited. Green-pointed frame will appear around the image as a result.
- Call for the Object’s Objects size dialog window of the Edit map Map editor utility by the main menu command Operations with objects > Object’s Objects size.
Specify the size of the image: Width (icon 's width) and Height (icon’s icon height) fields – (1, 2). Icon’s Icon size is expressed in pixels.
Info title Note If If 0 value is entered in the fields Width and Height fields, object’s object icon will be displayed in the original size. Click Ok the OK button to save the changes (3).
Editing the object’s object size is completedcomplete.
Editing the position of object

Edit the position of object with the help of the Position of object dialog window as follows:
- Select the object, the position of which is to should be edited.
- Call for the the Position of object dialog window of theMap Editeditor utility in one of two ways:
- Perform the command of the main menu Operations with objects > Object’s positionPosition of object;
- Perform the command of the context menu Object’s position Position of object (is called by right-clicking the object’s object image).
Set the coordinates of the object’s object center: X (horizontal indent from the left border of graphic plan) and Z (horizontal indent from the bottom border of graphic plan) fields (1-, 2).

Creating the layers of the interactive map). - Enter the angle in degrees of object’s object image turn in the Angle field. The angle is set set counterclockwise from the contour line (3).

Editing the object’s object position with the help of Object’s position Position of object dialog window is completed.
Using the mouse
TheMap editeditor utility also enables to edit the object’s object position with the help of the mouse.
To set the position of the icon , point on the map, hover the mouse cursor over it and left-click it. Then drag the icon to the desired location and release the mouseHolding the left mouse button, place the icon on the place on the map that corresponds to its real location on the territory of the protected facility.
To rotate the icon, point hover the mouse cursor over it and left-click it. Green-pointed frame will appear around the icon as a result. Point at one of the corner dots. A bended arrow will appear. Move the mouse in the desired required direction to rotate the symbol and release the mouseicon.
Using the Properties panel
...
- Open the Properties panel for the required object (see Editing object properties using the Properties panel).
- Expand the Position and Size settings group. For the Line icon type, specify the coordinates of the initial point (x0, y0) and end point (x1, y1) of the line in this group.
- For other icons, specify the coordinates of the upper left corner (x, y), width (w) and height (h).
- To rotate the icon, specify the required rotation angle in degrees in the Angle field.
Editing the object position using the Properties panel is complete.

- Select the object for which it is necessary to display the viewing angle. As a result, the object name will be highlighted with a border of green dots.
- Open the Properties panel for the required object (see Editing object properties using the Properties panel) and expand the PTZ settings group.
- Set the required field values:
- Angle on map — the —the direction of the display vector on the map. A value of 0 is the actual position of the camera at the time of setting the parameters.
- Telemetry deviation deflection from zero — the —the actual offset of the camera.
- View Viewing angle — the —the angle of the view display vector.View range
- — the Viewing distance—the size of the the view display vector.
- Color — the —the color of the view display vector.
- Transparency — the Nontransparency—the transparency of the view display vector.
- Invert rotation — select pan—select True in the drop-down list if it is necessary to invert the camera rotation.

- Open the Properties panel (see Editing object properties using the Properties panel).
- In From the dropdown drop-down list, select the fill color of the polygon or ellipsis ellipsis (1).
- Set the degree of transparency of the polygon or ellipsis in the normal state (2). The smaller the number, the higher the degree of transparency. 0 corresponds to full transparency, 255 - — full opacity.
- In From the dropdown drop-down list, select the fill color of the polygon or ellipsis in case of alarm (3).
- Set the degree of transparency of the polygon or ellipsis in the alarm state (4). The smaller the number, the higher the degree of transparency. 0 corresponds to full transparency, 255 - — full opacity.
- If the frame framing the polygon is to should be hidden, then set the value to 1 in the Hide frame field (5).
Editing the line thickness
To edit the thickness of the object icons added to the map in the form of a line, do the following:
- Select the object for which it is necessary to edit the line thickness. Green-pointed frame will appear around the image as a result.
- In the Map editor utility dialog box, select Line -> Thickness.
- In the Thickness dialog box, specify the line thickness.
- Click the OK button.
Editing the object line thickness is complete.

You can edit the thickness, as well other other display parameters of several object icons in the form of a line simultaneously. To do this, select the required icons with left mouse button, while holding down the Ctrl key on the keyboard. |
Adding or removing apexes

Add To add apexes of to an object icon as followsin the form of a polygon or polyline, do the following:

- Call the context menu of the object icon by right-clicking and holding down the Ctrl key in the polygon area or on the polyline.
- Select Add apex.
- Select the required position of a new apex and left-click.
- The apex will be added to the polygon or the polyline.
Apexes of object icon are now addedAdding apexes to an object icon in the form of a polygon or polyline is complete.
To remove the apex, right-click it holding down the Ctrl key and select Remove apex.
Setting the order of displaying objects on map
The You can set the order of displaying object icons display when they are laid over can be set. For thisoverlay. To do this, do the following:
- Open the Properties panel of the required object object (see Editing object properties using the Properties panel).
- Set the value of the Drawing order parameter. Icons The icons with bigger higher value of this parameter will be displayed over the icons with smaller lower value.

By default, if the object is in several states at the same time, the device icon changes according to these states in a short time, and when the object is selected on the map all its states are displayed as the thumbnails next to it (see Graphic objects on the Map).
It is possible to disable displaying states thumbnails. For thisTo do this, do the following:
- Open the Properties panel for the required object (see Editing object properties using the Properties panel).
- To disable the display of the thumbnails, select the 1 value in from the Show states successively dropdown drop-down list. To enable their display, select the 0 value in from this dropdown drop-down list.
