The icon of a camera on the map indicates the current status of the camera:

Icon	Status
Image Modified	Camera alarm, recording is not active
Image Modified	Сamera alarm, recording is active
Image Modified	Camera armed, recording is not active
Image Modified	Camera armed, recording is active
Image Modified	Camera disarmed, recording is not active
Image Modified	Camera disarmed, recording is active
Image Modified	Camera disabled in the System
Image Modified	Camera connection lost

To control a camera from the map, tap its icon to open its context menu:
