The BACnet devices are created automatically during the devices search (see Activation of the BACnet Wrapper module and the BACnet devices search). No additional configuration is required.

To add a BACnet device manually or to configure a BACnet deviceTo search devices supporting BACnet protocol in local network, do the following:

  1. Go to the the Bacnet Device object settings panel, which is created on the basis of the Bacnet rootServer object.

  2. Click the Start device search button.

Search of BACnet devices will be performed and corresponding objects will be created in the object tree as a result.

If there are several network connections on the PC where search for devices is performed it is recommended to disable all conections except that connection which provides connection to local network with BACnet devices.

It is possible to create the following information on the settings panel of created object:

  1. In the IP address field (1) enter the IP address of the BACnet device.
  2. In the Port field (2) enter the port of the BACnet device.
  3. In the ID field (3) enter the identification number of the BACnet device.
  4. Click the Apply button (4) to save the changes.

Configuring the BACnet device is complete.
