Adding biometric parameters (faces, fingerprints, etc.) is performed using the BioSmart FS80 biometric control readercontrol readers or biometric ACS terminals.  

To add the a user's fingerprintsbiometriс parameters, do the following:

  1. Right-click on the user's photo and select Extensions -> Reader.

  2. In the Operations on biometrics window, press the Add fingerprints button.

    The Reading biometric data window will open.

  3. Put finger on reader and hold until the fingerprint appears in the window.

  4. Click the Apply button and repeat the procedure with the same finger.
  5. If the procedure was carried out properly, and the fingerprints match, the Biometric data is valid message will be dispalyed.

  6. Click Ready to save the fingerprint.
  7. If required, add new fingerprints or delete the existing ones.

  8. Click Ready and then save the user parameters
  9. hover over the Extensions item (1).
  10. Select a biometric reader from the list (2).
  11. If an extension button is added, then instead of the first 2 steps, you can click this button (3).

As a result, a dialog box for adding user biometric parameters opens. This dialog box differs depending on the equipment used. Operation in this dialog box is described in the documentation for the corresponding ACS integration module (see ACS integration modules), as well as in the documentation for the corresponding control reader integration module (see Control Readers Settings Guide).

In order for a reader or controller to be available for selection in the Extensions list, it is necessary to select it when configuring the Access Manager module – see Configuring control readers in the Access Manager.

By default, extension buttons are hidden. To add (or remove) extension buttons:

  1. Right-click on the user's photo and hover over the Extensions item (1).
  2. Holding down the Shift key, click on the extension from the list (2).

As a result, the button with the selected biometric reader (3) will be added to the area under the user's photo.

To remove the extension button, follow the same steps.
