The MixForward utility routes the routes the data packages received from POS-terminals to the IP - address and port of a the POS - server according to in accordance with the settings specified in the configuration file. The utility can receive the data packages from POS-terminals via the following network interfaces:
- RS-232.
- UDP.
- TCP/IP.
The received packages are forwarded to the IP address and port of the POS server via the TCP/IP interface.

The utility converts data from POS-terminals to XML format protocol using the dynamic library plug-inins. The These plug-ins connected to the utility are located in the <POS-Intellect program folder><POS Intellect installation directory>\Modules\Pos\Forwarders\Protocols folder. \ folder.

Plug-in settings files are located in the <POS Intellect installation directory>\Modules\Pos\Forwarders\Protocols\Settings\ folder.
Transformation files are located in the <POS Intellect installation directory>\Modules\Pos\Forwarders\Protocols\Transformations\ folder.
If logging is enabled, the log files will be located in the <POS Intellect installation directory>\Modules\Pos\Forwarders\Protocols\Logs\ folder.
Temporary files created by some plug-ins will be located in the <POS Intellect installation directory>
