To shut down the Axxon Next Server, complete perform one of the following actions:

  1. Select Stop server from the menu Start -> → All Programs -> → Axxon Next -> Shut down Server menu or in the Axxon Next Tray Tool utility (see Axxon Next Tray Tool).

  2. Stop the NGP Host Service.

You can use the NGP_SERVICE_STOP_TIMEOUT_MS system variable (see Appendix 10. Creating system variable) to increase the Server shutdown time. The value of the variable should be specified in milliseconds.
