If motion detection runs on GPUtools use GPU for video decoding (see Configuring detection tools), make sure the following hardware requirements for devices are met:

1. For NVIDIA graphics cards:

   1. CUDA 11.1 − 11.4.

   2. Compute Capability 3.5 − 8.6.

      CUDA is compatible with generations of computers with the following architectures: Kepler (partially), Maxwell, Pascal, Volta, Turing, Ampere (partially) (see CUDA)

   Nvidia's graphics cards - Compute Capability 3.0 and above

   Intel's built-in graphics cards - the sixth generation of CPU and above.

   2. Support for the required codec in NVDEC (see here).

      Video can be decoded on two NVIDIA GPUs at a time.

      
      

2. For the integrated Intel GPUs:

   1. 6th generation CPU or higher. 

   2. Support for the required codec in Quick Sync Video.
