To connect multi-channel devices (e.g. DVRs)   over RTSP, do as follows:

1. Go to IP Device Discovery Wizard and open the manual addition field (see Adding and removing IP devices).

2. Select RTSP in the Vendor field In IP address, enter the device address (1).

   Following  the IP address, add the";" symbol. Otherwise some channels may fail.

3. Select RTSP in the Vendor field (2).

   
   

4. In Model, select the model name, that shows the corresponding number of device  device channels (23). For example, for a four-channel device, select 4_channel_device.
5. In IP address, enter the device address (3).
6. Enter the user name Enter the username (4) and password (45).
7. Click Image Removed Image Added.

A parent  IP server object will be created hosting a number of video cameras objects equal to the number of channels on the device.

1. Select a child Camera object.
2. In RTSP Stream URL, enter URI enter the streaming address.

3. Repeat the steps for all channels.
