There are two ways to search the archive in the Web-Client:

  • Standard search. To go to the search in the archive

  • , do the following:

    1. Select the required camera on the cameras panel or on the layout.
    2. Click the Image Added button.

The interface of the archive search in the Web-Client will open. It is similar to the interface of the Client (see Archive Search mode interface).

  • Quick search. To go to the quick search in the archive, do the following 
    1. Select the required camera on the cameras panel or on the layout.
    2. Click the

    1. Image Added button on the camera fold.

      The quick search button is displayed on the fold of the cameras, on the basis of which the detection tools with the ability to track objects are created (see Tracking objects).

    2. Set the required search area on the grid with the Image Added cursor.

    3. Click the SEARCH button.

As a result, the interface with the results of a search in the archive by the Motion in the area type of search will open.
Image Added

The search in the archive is similar to the search in the Client (see Search in an archive of a single video camera). The search results are the video archive frames that match the specified search criteria.

  • The previews of the search results are downloaded gradually and displayed when you scroll the screen.
  • In addition to the type of the search, the number of the search results depends on how long the timeline covers (the timeline of the Web-Client is similar to the timeline of the Client, see The Timeline). The more time the timeline covers, the more extensive the search will be.
  • Depending on the search type and the time period, it may take some time for the search results to load. Search results loading process is indicated by the Image Added icon in the middle of the screen.

You can resize the found frames using the Image Added slider or the following buttons: Image Added (zoom out), Image Added (zoom in).

You can change the size of the Surveillance window using the Image AddedYou can resize camera windows with Image Removed buttons.

If you select an item from Cameras panel, the search conditions will not be reset a device on the cameras panel (see Searching for video cameras in the Web-Client), the following conditions exist:

  • If you switch to the camera that was searched previously, the search conditions will be from the previous search.
  • If you switch to the camera that was not searched previously, the search conditions will be from the camera from which the transition was made.

If you searched several times on the same camera and didn't leave the search tab, you can navigate between the search results:

If you change the camera inside the search, the previous results will be deleted.

Search results can be displayed as:

  • tiles (Image Added, default mode)—found frames are displayed;
  • heat map (Image Added)—found frame of the video image on which the heat map is built is displayed.

You can build a report based on search results using the Image Added button (see Reporting the search results). a search was run more than once, and the user did not exit Archive Search mode during that time, it is possible to switch between search results.Image Removed
