Security devices of the System (cameras, microphones, sensors, relays) are reflected displayed on the Map as symbols icons (conventional characters, see the figure).
The graphic symbol icon of the device in the Map shows the current status of the given device.

This display circuit is not used for all types of security devices of the system. Certain modifications are possible for certain types of devices. |
If the object has several states, then the device symbol icon changes in accordance with these states in some time. When the object is marked on the map, then all its states are displayed next to it as diminished minimized icons.

The display of the thumbnails minimized icons can be disabled at the stage of the system configuration – configuration—see Operations with objects in the Map editor utility section in Administrator's Guide. |
The selected object is framed. If required, the frame can be not shown – set 1 as You can disable the display of the frame by setting the 1 value to the AlternativeSelect parameter value – (see Registry keys reference guide).
Interlayer links integrated in the given level reflect The layer link icons on the current layer display the status of devices on other layers of the Map levels.
Whenever When any security device registers an alarm event on any of the existing levelslayers, the interlayer layer link symbol icon starts blinking. The interlayer layer link symbol icon continues blinking as long as until the current registered alarm event is occurringends, whereas and no other alarm events arise within the given leveloccur on this layer.
Device functions can be accessed via a functional function menu called up displayed by a right mouse click on the symbol -clicking the icon of the device shown on the Map. Some functional items of the function menu commands are common to objects of different types - see —see Common commands items in the functional function menu. The example of the functional function menu of the Camera object is shown in the figure.

If TouchScreen=1 registry key is set, you can also double-left click on an object icon to call the functional function menu (see Registry keys reference guide for more details information on the key, see Registry keys reference guide).
A tooltip with the name of the last event received from the object can be displayed above the object's icon (see Configuring the event tooltips). The tooltip size does not depend on the map scale.
