To set up the Captions search interface window displaying, the following parameters should be specified:

1. coordinates Position – the position and the size of the Caption search interface window;.
2. overlay Overlay type – the type of the overlay of the synchronous display of video image and search results;.
3. print Print reports – allows the user can operator to print the search results.

To set up the Captions search interface window displaying, do the following:

1. Specify the position and the size of the the Captions search interface window (1): the X is  field (the horizontal indent relative to from the left border of the video image, Y is the indent relative to computer screen), the Y field (the vertical indent from the top border of the video image, W is computer screen), the W field (the window width), the H is  field (the window height) (1). 

   The coordinates can be set up using the visual method. Click the  button button and use the mouse to set the location and size of the sample test window, then click the OK button. The coordinates of the sample test window will be filled in the automatically calculated and copied into the X, Y, W and H fields automatically.
   
   

   

2. In the Monitor drop-down list, select the number of the computer monitor on which you want to display the Captions search interface window (2).
3. By default, the option of moving the Caption search window by dragging with left mouse button is enabledit is possible to move the Captions search interface window using drag&drop. To disable it, uncheck clear the Allow moving checkbox (3).
4. To display the Captions search interface window over all windows, set the Over all windows checkbox (4).

5. Select Set the overlay type by checking setting the Overlay (Type I) or Overlay (Type II) checkbox (45).

   In most cases, the optimal mode of processing the video image is DirectDraw — Overlay (Type II). If it is necessary to display the video signal from the Fisheye cameras or the signal decoded using the Intel QuickSync technology, select the Overlay (Type I) — Direct3D. Also, the Overlay can The overlay can also be disabled completely.

   
   

6. To allow the operator to print the search results, check set the Print reports checkbox (56).

7. If it is necessary to display the archive video is to be displayed in the Captions search Captions searchinterface window in the 16:9 format, then set the Maintain aspect ratio 16:9 (67) checkbox checked. If the checkbox is set uncheckedclear, then the 4:3 aspect ratio is set even for HD the widescreen video.

8. Click the Apply button (78).

The Captions search interface window is now set.
