You can enter an access card number using a control reader by clicking the corresponding button (see Specifying user parameters). |
To enter an To input access card number using a control reader, do the following:
- Go to user editing a user (see the see Going to user editing section).
- Click the right mouse button in card selection Right-click the card list area.
- Select In the function menu, select the From reader item in the opened functional menu.
The Access card reading window will openopens. From the Reader typedrop-down list, select a control reader which will be that is used for input of entering the access card number (1).
Info title Note List of accessible available control readers is specified while when configuring the system configuring (see the see Configuring control readers in the Access Manager section).
Click the Start reading button (2). The Access card reading window will be as followslook like this:
Info title Note To cancel the reading of an access card reading , click the the Cancel reading button.
If you select Universal Reader, when you click the Start reading button, a settings window opens. For the description of settings, see Entering an access card number using a universal reader.
- Present the access card to the selected reader.
- If confirmation of card input insert by operator is configured, the Confirmation of card insert window will displayis displayed. To assign the presented card number to a user, click OK, otherwise, click Cancel.
- Then the The Access card reading window will be closed closes, and the number of the presented access card will be is added to the list.
