By default, the camera ID short name is displayed in the surveillance window (see The Video Camera Object).

To disable displaying the ID displayshort name, do the followingas follows:

  1. Go to Settings → Options (1) → User Interface (2).

  2. Clear the Show camera short name checkbox (3).
  3. Click the Apply button.
  4. Reopen the layout (see Layouts Managementmanagement).

The camera ID short name display is disabled.
