With the growing number of CARMEN-Auto identifiers on the Auto-Intellect server the rate of video processing by every identifier goes down, that results in lesser percent of the identified characters. Results delay and missing of frames are also possible.

The rate of video processing by CARMEN-Auto can also depend on the model, resolution, color and other camera's parameters. 

The symbols height in a video image frame is to be from 20 to 40 pixels for better plates recognizing by CARMEN-Auto and CARMEN-Parking identifiers identifier.

The program module Traffic detector is used for identifying the type of the vehicle. The Radar Speed traps server module is designed for identifying the speed of the vehicle.

If the Arena module ARENA module is used and the Auto-Intellect software should be set up, create and set up the following objects:

  1. LPR channel (should be only created, not set up);
  2. Arena ARENA module;
  3. Vehicle TrackerTracer interface object.

If the Auto-Uragan, Carmen-auto, CARMEN-parking, ARH-Containers, Carmen-Carriages or IntLab-Carriages modules LP recognition modules are used and the Auto-Intellect software should be set up, it is necessary to create and set up the following objects:

  1. LPR channel;

    LPR channel object is designed for creating the multipurpose settings of the Auto-Uragan, Carmen-auto, CARMEN-parking, recognition modules.


  2. The corresponding module: ARH-Carriages, ARH-Containers,

    VIT, Carmen-Carriages or IntLab-Carriages modules.

    The Auto-Uragan, Carmen-auto, CARMEN-parking, VIT, ARH-Containers, Carmen-Carriages or IntLba-Carriages modules dependent on the program module, used for identifying the plates;CARMEN-Auto, LPR IntelliVision, IntLab, VIT, AUTO-Uragan, ARENA, or Remote recognition.

  3. Radar Speed traps server module (If if LPR channel is used simultaneously with Radar with Speed traps server module);
  4. External Plates database (If if LPR channel is used simultaneously with external External Plates database);
  5. Vehicle TrackerTracer interface object.

To set up the Auto-Intellect PC software, when Vehicle Tracker Tracer is used, the following system objects should be created and set up:

  1. Traffic Detector;
  2. Monitoring server interface object.

To set up the subsystem, gathering information about vehicle streams , the following system objects should be created and set up:

  1. IntelliVision Traffic Detector;
  2. Vehicle processor.
