When you add a new user to AxxonNet, you can select one of the roles:

  1. Users with the admin role in AxxonNet can perform any available actions with the Axxon-domain.
  2. By default, the operator role is limited to accessing Web-Client only (see Role types in AxxonNet). It will be necessary to further configure this role in Axxon One in order for the cameras to be displayed to user in Web-Client.

To add a user for working with an Axxon- All other users will have view-only rights.To allow a user to work with the Axxon domain via AxxonNet, do as followsthe following:

  1.  On the Dashboard page, click the Image Removed icon Image Added icon in the Axxon-domain.

  2. Click the Image Removed buttonthe Image Added button.
  3. Select an AxxonNet user (1).

  4. In the Domain role drop-down list (2), select

    the role you want to add the user to

    (2) from the list. To create a new role, enter the new role name in the field.

    The role will be automatically created in Axxon Next and will have minimal access rights.

    Click the Assign button

  5. If necessary, select an existing role in Axxon One. To do this, set the Choose another VMS role checkbox (3) and select one of the available roles in the VMS role drop-down list (4).
  6. Click the Assign button.

After the user is granted access to the Axxon-domain, he can use the Web-Client and AxxonData reports.

For correct operation of reports, the user role has to match the following conditions:

  1. The Permission to Access via WebUI function is activated (see Roles).
  2. The user has maximum possible access levels to all required cameras.

To change the user role, click the Image Removed Image Added button and select a new role. To delete the user, click Image Removed Image Added.

To enable the user to edit multiple Axxon domains, do as follows:

Select multiple Axxon domains on the Dashboard page: hover the mouse over the Axxon domain of your choice and click Image Removed in the upper left corner.

  • It is not possible to delete a role in Axxon One if there are AxxonNet users with this role.
  • In order for a role (except admin) not to be displayed in AxxonNet, it is necessary to first delete all users with this role in AxxonNet (or move their access rights to another role), and after that, delete roles without users in Axxon One
