You can set parameters describing target objects' geometry and/or behaviour for each type of Scene Analytics a number of parameters that describe the objects that should cause a trigger for each Scene analytics detection tool.
To configure the settings for target of the detected objects, you mustdo the following:
- Select an appropriate Scene Analytics the corresponding Scene analytics detection tool.
- Set the maximum and minimum height of the target object that should cause a trigger as a percentage of the FoV height frame size (1, 4). The values should be in the range [0,05; 100].
Set the maximum and minimum speed per second of the target object that should cause a trigger as a percentage of the frame per second size (2, 6). The values should be in the range [0; 500].
Info title Note In Axxon Next speed is a conditional value. It is calculated using the values of different dimensions. The speed calculation algorithm takes into account both the frame width and the frame height.
For visual understanding of the speed values, it is recommended to go to the speed configuration when searching in the archive
Note title Attention! For better visual understanding of speed settings, proceed to setting values for searches in Archive (see Configuring minimum and maximum object speed).
Info title Note In Abandoned Object detection, these These parameters are not usedset for the Abandoned object detection tool.
- Set the maximum and minimum width of the target object that should cause a trigger as a percentage of the FoV width frame size (3, 5). The values should be in the range [0,05; 100].
Select the class of the object that should cause a trigger (7).
Info title Note A Group is a group of two or more people moving beside each other for some time. If you select this class of object, the detection tool will not trigger, if it detects the movement of one person. If you select the Human class, the detection tool will not trigger, if it detects the movement of several people beside each other.
- Set a color (or color range) for of the target object that should cause a trigger:
- Select the relevant detection tool object and click
in the Object сolor fieldIn the Object color field (8) click the button. The Object Color color dialog box opens.
You can set Set the color range with Drag&Drop of the object with drag-and-drop on the RGB / or black-and-white color palette.

. The previous range will disappear.
To cancel a selected color, click on any palette, save the changes, and click the Apply button.
Note title Attention! The Axxon Next 's inner logic treats all objects as monochrome. The object color is averaged within the object's contourin Axxon Next is an average of all object colors on the video image.
All objects of the specified colors will be detected.
Note title Attention! If no colors are object color is set, the detection tool triggers on will trigger to objects of any color.
Info title Note To cancel a selected color, click on any palette, save changes, and click Apply.
Select the type of the target object that should trigger the detector (7).
Note title Attention! 2 or more human objects moving along each other are treated by the system as a Group. If you select this type of object for tracking, single human motion, even if detected, will not cause alarms.
If you select the Human type, group motion will not cause alarms.
- Select the relevant detection tool object and click
- Set the X-axis offset and Y-axis offset as a percentage of the track area to specify the detection tool triggering area (9, 10). The values should be in the range [1; 50].
- Click the Apply button.
The setting procedure for target Configuring the detected objects is now complete.
