Traffic light is to be always observed for camera and it is not to be covered by some items or other vehicles for proper working of the Traffic Lights Detection module. | ||

For the correct operation of the Traffic lights detection module, traffic light must be always visible to camera and must not be blocked by any objects or other vehicles. |
To configure the Traffic lights detectionTo setup the Traffic Lights Detection, do the following:
- Go to the Traffic lights detection object settings panel, which is created on the basis of the Camera object.
- Click the Settings button. The Detection settings window will open.
Specify the area of traffic light signals:
Click the Stop video button to capture the video frame (1).
Do the following actions for each traffic light signal:
click the button with this signal (2);
specify the area of this signal on the captured video frame. Click the left mouse button on the video frame and move the cursor holding it.
Info title Note. To remove the area click opposite next the corresponding button.
- Specify the software module parameters:
- Go to the Parameters tab.
- Specify the detection sensitivity in conventional units in a range from 0 to 255 in the corresponding field (1).
- In the Periodicity of events occurrence, s field (2), enter the time period (in seconds) between creating messages about the states of traffic light signal.
- Set the Reduce large resolution checkbox if the state of traffic light signal is to be recognized on the frame (3).
Click the OK button to save the changes and to return to the settings panel of the Traffic Light Detection object (4).
Info title Note. Click the Cancel button to return to the settings panel of the Traffic Light Detection object without saving the changes (5).
- Click the Apply button.
