A Server can be added to an existing Axxon Domain domain from any Server within that Axxon Domaindomain.

  • Before configuring a distributed system, be sure to combine your consolidate your Servers into domain.
  • When consolidating the Servers into an Axxon-domaindomain, each Server must have a unique IP address.
  • Only unallocated Servers , i.e., Servers which do not already belong to any Axxon Domain, can be addedcan be added to domain. Unallocated Servers are the Servers that don't belong to any domain.

There are two ways to add a Server to an Axxon Domaina domain, depending on whether or not it is present in the search results (in the the Unallocated Serversservers group).

If one of these Servers a Server is present in the search results, select it and click the Add to domain button.

The Server will then be added to the Axxon Domain from the Unallocated Servers a domain from the Unallocated servers group.
Since the search for the unallocated Servers is conducted using the broadcast packets, the results may not include Servers located in a different subnetwork (for example, beyond a router which that blocks broadcast packets).

To add a Server to a domain manually, do the following:

  1. Select the Unallocated Serversservers group (1).


  2. Enter the Server IP address (2).

  3. Enter the Server port (3 and port number (2). 

  4. Click the Add to domain button (34).

The Server will then be manually added to the Axxon Domaina domain.
After a Server is added to an Axxon Domain a domain using any of the methods described, it will appear be displayed in the object objects tree.

If a Server is not currently accessible available when it is added to an Axxon Domaina domain, it will be displayed in the object objects tree with the Image Removedthe Image Added icon.

The Server will be added to a domain when it becomes available. To undo addition of adding a Server to the Axxon-a domain, select the Server and click the Exclude from domain the Image Added button. Image Removed
