To create a macro, click the Create ... button in the required list.
Then do as follows:
- Enter the name of the macro (1).
Select the macro triggering working mode (2):
Mode Event-driven Cyclic NewerNever Manual execution only only (see see Working with Dialog Board, Macros control).
Disabled, manual execution is possible .(see Macros control)
Always Always on. Always on.
Time time schedule Runs within the selected time schedule (see Creating schedules). Initiated by the user Manual execution is possible at any time.

Info title Note When creating a macro, the Always mode is used by default.
If you need to include add a macro in to the control menu on the current layout (see Macros control), select set the corresponding check box checkbox (3, see Macros control).
To configure event-driven macros, click the button and select one or more trigger events (4, see Configuring filters for event-driven macros). If the event filter is left blank, the macro can be executed only manually.
Info title Note To delete an event from the filter, click the button.
Add one or more actions into to the macro (5, see Settings specific to actions). Click the button to do this. When the macro starts, all actions are performed simultaneouslyTo delete an action, click the button.

Info title Note To hide the start conditions and action for the macro, click the action name.
A cyclic macro can be launched automaticallyat a specified time interval, or at a random moment within the specified time interval. To configure this action, do as follows:
- In the Heartbeat interval field Heartbeat Interval field, specify a the time interval in the HH:MM:SS format (1). For example, if you set the interval to 8 hours and leave the Random (2) checkbox clear (see 6b) unselected, the macro will be launched every 8 hours strictly. The macro will be launched according to cycle settings even if the actions from its previous launch are not completecompleted. In this case, several instances of the same macro will be executed simultaneously.
Select the Random Set the Random checkbox (2) checkbox , if you need to launch the macro at a random moment within the interval specified in the field set by the Heartbeat interval (1)parameter. For example, if you set the interval is set to 8 hours, then once every 8 hours at a random moment, the macro will be launched ones at a random moment every 8 hours.
Note title Attention! If the macro working mode is linked to a time schedule, and the random moment launch time falls out of the schedule, no launching occursthe macro will not be launched.
- In the Heartbeat interval field Heartbeat Interval field, specify a the time interval in the HH:MM:SS format (1). For example, if you set the interval to 8 hours and leave the Random (2) checkbox clear (see 6b) unselected, the macro will be launched every 8 hours strictly. The macro will be launched according to cycle settings even if the actions from its previous launch are not completecompleted. In this case, several instances of the same macro will be executed simultaneously.
To save the macro, click the Apply button.
Note title Attention! By default, the created macros are available only to the users from the admin group (see Creating and configuring roles).
The created macros are displayed in the listMacros configuration is complete. Created macro are listed. If the macro is disabled (Never mode) Never mode is selected for the macro, it is grayed out.
You can copy macro commandsmacros. To do it, follow do the steps belowfollowing:
- Select the macro to copy.
- Click the Create ... button.
This creates a A new identical macro with the similar parameter will be created.

To remove delete a macro, select it in the list and click the Remove button.
