General information

This macro starts the replication process—copying blocks of information of a fixed size (video, audio, metadata) from one archive to another within the domain (see Configuring data replication).

Configuring an action

command starts the replication process. To configure the commandmacro, do the following:

  1. Configure on-demand replication (see Configuring data replication) if replication is performed from the archive. To replicate from the embedded storage of a camera, enable the corresponding object (
  2. The Embedded storage object).Select a camera or a group of cameras to replicate (1). An implicit selection of a camera is also allowed
  3. see Embedded storage).
  4. Go to the Programming tab.
  5. In the Event rules or Cycle rules list, click Create... (see Configuring macros).
  6. Select a start condition that triggers a macro (see Configuring start conditions).
  7. Click the Image Added button below start conditions.
  8. From the drop-down list, select Camera: Start replication.
  9. In the Camera parameter, select a camera or group of cameras for replication. In addition, an implicit camera selection is allowed—Camera that initiated command execution
