General information

This action starts a slideshow of specific layouts These actions start and stop a specific layout slideshow (see Selection and Slideshow of Layouts) on the selected operator monitor for the assigned specified role. You must configure the conditions to start a macro beforehand (see Configuring filters for event-driven macros).

To configure the Start slideshow action, set the following parameters:

Configuring an action

To configure the Start slideshow action, do the following:

  1. Go to the Programming tab.
  2. In the Event rules or Cycle rules list, click Create... (see Configuring macros).
  3. Select a start condition that triggers a macro (see Configuring start conditions).
  4. Click the Image Added button below start conditions.
  5. From the drop-down list, select Monitor: Start slideshow.

  6. In the Specify monitor number parameter, select the number of the monitor on which you want to start a slideshow
  7. Select the monitor number from the Specify monitor number drop-down list (1)
  8. . If you select a dash () when selecting a monitor,
  9. the slideshow will run for
  10. a slideshow starts on the active monitor.
  11. Select the number from the Slideshow number drop-down list (2)
  12. In the Slideshow number parameter, select the number of a slideshow. The list starts with a zero. For example, Slideshow #1 in the Layouts interface
  13. will have

  15. Select
  16. In the Role parameter, select a role for which the macro will
  17. function from the Role drop-down list (3)
