General information

This action allows you to process and assess an alarm.

Configuring an action

To configure this action, do the following:

  1. Go to the Programming tab.
  2. In the Event rules or Cycle rules list, click Create... (see Configuring macros).
  3. Select a start condition that triggers
  4. Configure the conditions to start
  5. a macro (see Configuring start conditions)

  8. Click the Image Added button below start conditions.
  9. From the drop-down list, select Camera: Stop alarm.
  10. In the Camera parameter, select a camera or

  12. group of cameras on which you want to stop an alarm

  14. . In addition, an implicit camera selection is allowed—Camera that initiated command execution.

  29. In the Alarm classification mode parameter, select the alarm status.
  30. Click the Apply Image Added button.

Configuration of the Stop alarm action is complete.

Example use

If connection with a camera is lost, an alarm is initiated. The wait time to restore connection with a device is 30 seconds. The wait time stops as soon as connection with an IP device is restored. When connection with a camera is restored, the alarm is stopped. If this event doesn't occur, an email notification is sent to the operator after this time.
