To configure the Motion In Areacreate the Motion in area detector, do the following:

  1. Create the required
  2. detection tool
  3. detector and specify its parameters (see
  4.  Creating detection tools
  5. Configuring detectors and their sub-detectors).
  6. Below the created
  7. detection tool
  8. detector,
  9. click
  10. click Create…
  11. Motion In Area
  12. Motion in area.

By default, the detection tool detector is enabled and triggers set to generate events when an object starts moving in the area.

If necessary, you can change the detection tool detector parameters. The list of parameters is given in the table:

Maximum object speed500

Specify the maximum object speed per second for the

detection tool to trigger

detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0, 500]

In
  • In Axxon One, speed is a conditional value that is calculated using values of different dimensions. The speed calculation algorithm takes into account both the frame width and its height.
  • For a visual understanding of the speed values, we recommend specifying the speed when searching the archive (see Configuring minimum and maximum object speed).
Maximum object width100

By default, the entire frame is the a detection area. In If necessary, in the preview window, you can specify can reduce the detection areas using the anchor points Image Removed (see Configuring the Detection Zonearea (see Configuring a detection area) and/or set one or more skip areas (see Configuring a skip area).
