Universal reader is installed together with control readers. You must select it when installing ACFA PSIM by setting the corresponding checkbox. |
To configure a universal reader, do the following:
- Create the Universal Reader object

- on the basis of the

- Computer object on
...
- the Hardware tab of
...
- the System
...
- settings window.

- Clear the Auto-read checkbox, otherwise you cannot specify the reader settings in step 4.
- Click the Apply button to save the settings.
- Specify the reader settings (for more information, see Working with a universal reader).
- Set the Auto-read checkbox to use the reader settings already specified in the previous step. If the checkbox is clear, the settings window opens every time the access card is read.
- Click the Apply button to save the settings.
