1. Go to the settings panel for the Embedded detector object.
   
2. In the id in device terms field the detector code in the device is specified (camera, card) (1). It is recommended to leave this field unchanged for proper operation of the detector.

3. Set the Generate alarm on the camera checkbox if the alarm is to be generated on the camera by detector’s response (2).

   The alarm triggers on the embedded detection tool instead of the camera does not trigger when the camera is disarmed. The alarm on the embedded detection tool triggers independently of this flag. Furthermore, the alarm triggers neither on camera nor embedded detection for metadata events intended for the Tracker (see Creating and configuring the Tracker object).

   
   

4. Click the Apply button to save the changes (3).

Embedded detectors are now configured.
