The AviExport utility is designed used for exporting the main archive as well as the backup archive, or video gate videogate archive, or edge storage archive (see General information on working with archives).
Video source is selected from the Video source drop-down list.

The following items may be available in the list:
- VideoServer – export —export of the main archive.
- Archiver – export —export of the Backup archive.
- Gate – export Video Gate —export of the Videogate archive.

Info title Note Archive from the edge storage can be exported only with the container type selected, the export won’t start without data conversion (see Select export mode).
When configuring the Video surveillance monitor, if no Videogate If no Video gate or Backup archive, or Edge Storage is (see Selecting and configuring video cameras) was selected for any of cameras camera added to the list for export (see Selecting and configuring Select video camerascamera) when configuring Surveillance monitor, then the corresponding list items are will not available to be selected. Information on how to select cameras on the video monitor is given in the Selecting and configuring video cameras section of Administrator’s Guide).
