By default, no events are displayed in the Incident manager. It is necessary to explicitly specify the objects, the events from which should be received and processed. To do this
This can be done in two ways: events can be selected as a group (this method is described in Displaying and handling events in bulk), or each event can be selected individually in the following way:
- Go to the Filters tab of the Incident managerhandler object.
- In the Objects table, specify the objects, the events from which should be received and processed. If no objects are selected, no events will be displayed in the Incident manager.
From the list in the Type column (1), select the object type.
Info Only those object types are available for selection for which the value "INFORMATION" or "ALARM" is selected on the Events tab in the Processing messages column in the ddititle Note .
exe utility (see The Events tab).- From the list in the Number column (2), select the object identification number. If the object number is not specified, events from all objects of the specified type will be logged. After you select the object type and number, the Name field (3) will be automatically filled in with the object name.
- From the list in the Event type column (4), select the events to be displayed in the Incident manager. If the event type is not specified, all events of the selected object will be sent to the module.
In the Logic
fieldlist (5),
enter the name ofselect the logic that will be used to process the events of the selected object.
Any name can be specified.Logics are created and configured
in the next stepon the Logic tab (see
ConfiguringCreating and configuring the logic of event handling
in the Incident manager).
)Note title Attention! It is required to select the logic, otherwise the object's events will not be displayed

- In the Priority field drop-down list (6), enter select the priority number level for the events of the selected object (see Setting the events priority in the Incident manager). The priority can be used by the operator to sort the events. If no priority is selected, priority number level 0 will be used.
In the Timer (secs) field (7), set the time in seconds from the moment the event occurred, after which the TIME_IS_OVER Time is over event will be generated. The timer will also count down the specified time in the interface in the Time(sec) column until it reaches zero.
Info title Note If grouping and/or filtering is enabled, then for groups and filters the timer will apply to the last generated event with the specified timer.
In the Autoescalation (s) field (8), specify the time in seconds from the moment the event occurs, after which the event will be automatically escalated. Autoescalation is performed within one Incident handler and works if the operator has the escalation rights (see Configuring user rights in Incident manager).
Info title Note If grouping is enabled, autoescalation is applied to each event separately.
Repeat the actions described in step 2 for all required objects.
Info title Note To add a row to the table, select the last row and press the ↓ key on the keyboard. To delete rows from the table, use the Ctrl + Del key combination.
To clear the objects table, click the Clear button.
- Click the Apply button.
As a result, the Incident manager will display the events from the objects that were selected on the Filters tab of the Incident handler.
