The software has the option of video image scaling in the surveillance Surveillance windows.
To magnify zoom in or reduce zoom out the image in an active Surveillance window, use the mouse wheel (see the figures below).

For other zooming modes, In addition, there are other ways of video image scaling (see Image processing section).
The magnified zoomed in image can be dragged by using moved in the Surveillance window by dragging with the left mouse button. You can also use the Up and Down keyboard keys to move the video image up and down respectively.
If the restorezoom registry key is specified, then after the specified time, the scaling will be reset if idle (see Registry keys reference guide). If the key is absent, then the specified zoom scaling ratio and zoom the scaling area of the video image are retained even after restarting the Axxon PSIM.

The ability possibility to scale and move the zoom zone scaling area can be blocked using the blocking registry key (see Registry keys reference guide). |
If the additional Video surveillance monitor is configured and has the Active camera mode activated mode enabled (see Configuring the display mode for of camera boxeswindows), and also if the GreenStream automatic video stream selection is configured (see Configuring an auto select see Configuring automatic selection of video stream for displayingdisplay), then the video streams are automatically switched during the video image scaling in when scaling the video image in this Video surveillance monitor, the video streams will be switched. However, if the maximum resolution video stream is used initially, then the video stream will not be switched.

The maximum possible video image size is achieved when a single surveillance Surveillance window with this video image is displayed on one a single Video surveillance monitor. If multiple Surveillance windows are displayed, their sizes may be automatically reduced to fit into a single Video surveillance monitor. |

If the lens type is was specified while when configuring a the camera, then instead of scaling the video image when you scroll the mouse wheel, the fisheye conversion of the video image will be converted instead of being scaled when scrolling performed (see also Enabling fisheye). |
