The Map editor utility is used to configure the display of objects added to map layers.

To open the Map editor utility, click the Edit layer button on the settings panel of the Layer object (see Creating the layers of the interactive map).

For any of the described operations, you can:

  1. Configure several objects at once. To do this, select them on the layer by holding down the Ctrl key on the keyboard (exceptionthe Object position operation).
  2. In the drop-down menus of the utility settings (File, Edit, View, and so on), you can select operations using the keyboard letters that the operation name begins with. For example, if you select an object on a layer, click Operations with objects and press D on the

  1. keyboard, the object will be deleted (the Delete object operation that is in this menu).

Editing the additional data and type of icon display

Edit the additional data and type of object icon display as follows:

  1. Select an object that should be edited. Greenthe required object. As a result, green-pointed frame will appear around the image as a result.
  2. Call for the Edit object dialog window of theMap editorutility in window in one of the three ways:
    1. Perform In the command of the main menu, select Operations with objects -> Edit object;
    2. Click the  button on the toolbar;
    3. Perform the Select the Edit command of in the context menu (called by right-clicking the object image)of an object.
  3. The type of the selected object is automatically displayed in the Object field (1).
  4. ID of the selected object is automatically displayed in the Identifier field (2).
  5. If necessary, change the type of object icon display with the help of the Type of display switch (3).

Edit the font, color, background or frame size of object name as follows:

  1. Select the name of the object, which font, color or background should be edited. Greenrequired object. As a result, green-pointed frame will appear around the image as a result.

Editing the object position with the help of the Position of object dialog window is completed.

Using the mouse 

TheMap editor utility also enables to edit the object position with the help of the mouse.To set the position of the icon on the map, hover the mouse cursor over it and left-click it. Holding the left mouse button, place the icon on the place on the map that corresponds to its real location on the territory of the guarded objectYou can move an object on the map by clicking it and holding down the mouse button.

 

To rotate the object icon, hover the mouse cursor over it and left-click it. Green-do the following:

Using the Properties panel 

You can also change the coordinates, rotation angle and the icon size of the Line, Image, Image and indicator and Text object types using the Properties panel:

  1. Open the Properties panel for of the required object (see see Editing object properties using the Properties panel).
  2. Expand the Position and Size settings group. For the Line icon type, specify the coordinates of the initial point (x0, y0) and end point (x1, y1) of the line in this group.

    For other icons, specify the coordinates of the upper left corner (x, y), width (w) and height (h).
  3. To rotate the icon, specify the required rotation angle in degrees in the Angle field.

To display the camera angle on the map, do the following:

  1. Select the object for which it is necessary to display the viewing anglerequired object. As a result, the object name will be highlighted with a border of green dotsgreen-pointed frame will appear around the image.
  2. Open the Properties panel for the required object (see Editing object properties using the Properties panel) and expand the PTZ settings group.
  3. Set the required field values:

  3. Set the degree of transparency of the polygon or ellipsis in the normal state (2). The smaller the number, the higher the degree of transparency. 0 corresponds to full transparency, 255full opacity.
  4. From the drop-down list, select the fill color of the polygon or ellipsis in case of alarm (3).
  5. Set the degree of transparency of the polygon or ellipsis in the alarm state (4). The smaller the number, the higher the degree of transparency. 0 corresponds to full transparency, 255full opacity.
  6. If the frame framing of the polygon should must be hidden, then set the value to 1 in the Hide frame field (5).

To edit the thickness of the object icons added to the map in the form of a line, do the following:

  1. Select the object for which it is necessary to edit the line thickness. Greenrequired object. As a result, green-pointed frame will appear around the image as a result.
  2. In the Map editor utility dialog boxwindow, select Line -> Thickness  Thickness.
  3. In the Thickness dialog boxwindow, specify the line thickness.
  4. Click the OK button.

Editing the object line thickness is complete.

You  can edit the thickness, as well other other display parameters of several object icons in the form of a line simultaneously. To do this, select the required icons with left mouse button, while holding down the Ctrl key on the keyboard.

Adding or removing apexes to polygon or polyline

To add apexes to an object icon in the form of a polygon or polyline, do the following:

Maximum number of apexes in the polygon is 51.

  1. Call the context menu of the object icon by right-clicking and holding down the Ctrl key in the polygon area or on the polyline.
  2. Select Add apex.
  3. Select the required position of a new apex and left-click.
  4. The apex will be added to the polygon or the polyline.

Adding apexes to an object icon in the form of a polygon or polyline is complete.

Setting the order of

You can set the order of object icons display when they overlay. To do this, do the following:

  1. Open the Properties panel of the required object (see Editing object properties using the Properties panel).

  2. Set the value of the Drawing order parameter. The icons with higher value of this parameter will be displayed over the icons with lower value.

It is possible to disable displaying the display of the states thumbnails. To do this, do the following:

  1. Open the Properties panel for the required object (see Editing object properties using the Properties panel).

  2. To disable the display of the thumbnails, select Select the 1 value from the Show states successively drop-down list. To enable their display, select the 0 value from this drop-down list.
