To search for events, do the following:

  1. Select From the Event type drop-down list, select the type of events that you want to find (1).

  2. Select an In the Initiator field, select the event initiator from the list (2).

  4. Set the search interval (see Setting a search interval).
  5. Click the Search button.

    • To search in the embedded storage of an IP device (for example, a camera or recorder) for events from the embedded detection toolsdetectors, you must synchronize the server and IP device (see Limitations of Axxon One). If you don't perform synchronization, there can be discrepancies between the time of detection tool detector events and the time of frames in the archive.
    • Once started, you can stop the search can be stopped at any time. To do this, click the Stop button which that appears instead of the Search button.

This starts a search in the archive based on the defined set criteria. Search results are available on the search results panel.
