Face search allows you to find faces similar to a given photo in the archive.

To perform face search:

1. Set the search interval (see Setting a search interval).

2. Set the

minimum

3. similarity level (in %) between the face in the photo and faces from the archive (1). The search results contain only the video recordings with faces with similarity levels above the set value.

   By default, the similarity level is 75%. Starting with the Axxon One 2.0.10, the minimum allowable similarity level is 40%.

4. Select a photo with the face that must be found in the archive (2).

5.  Supported formats: png, jpg, jpeg, jpe.When you click the face in the Surveillance window, this face us selected for search. If you do not select a photo, then all faces recognized during the specified time are displayed. To delete a photo from the search, click the Image Modified button.

9. If necessary, set additional search criteria by clicking the Image Modified button:

   1. Gender: select the required option;

   2. Age span: specify in years in the From and To fields.

       Saving information about gender and age to the database must be enabled in the detection tool settings (see Configuring Face detection). To delete a criterion, click the Image Modified button.

    Once started, the search can be stopped at any time. To do this, click the Stop button, which appears instead of the Search button.

This starts the search based on the specified criteria. The video frames with the faces that meet the search conditions are displayed on the search results panel. A recognized face is outlined with a red border, and the face similarity level (in %) is displayed below.

Image Modified

To instantly export a face image from the frame, do the following:

1. Click a face track in the Surveillance window.
2. Click the Image Modified button (4). 

The face image is saved to the folder specified in the settings (see Configuring export options).
