General information

In Axxon One, you can create and configure detection tools detectors and their sub-tools detectors (child detection toolsdetectors). Sub-tools detectors process the data received from parent detection toolsdetectors.

To create and configure detection toolsdetectors, you must have permissions to do so (see General information about userssee Users).

Note
titleAttention!
  • You can create
  • detection tools
  • detectors and sub-
  • tools
  • detectors for enabled and disabled cameras if camera video streams are enabled (see Configuring video stream settings).
  • You cannot create
  • detection
  • sub-
  • tools
  • detectors if the parent
  • detection tools
  • detectors don't have the settings applied (you must click the Apply button).

Several identical detection tools detectors can operate on the same camera stream:

For other detection tools detectors and their sub-toolsdetectors, you cannot create identical detection tools detectors and their sub-tools detectors for one camera.

Creating a

detector

To create a sub-tooldetector, do the following:

  1. Create the required
  2. detection tool
  3. detector and specify its parameters (see General information about
  4. detection tools
  5. detectors and their sub-
  6. tools
  7. detectors).
  8. Below the created

  18. Click the Apply button.

Creation of a sub-tool detector is complete. The sub-tool detector is displayed below the selected camera and below the detection tool detector in the objects tree.

Removing a

detector

To remove a detection tooldetector/sub-tooldetector, do the following:

  1. Select the Settings tab

  2. Detection Tools
  3. Detectors.

  4. Below the required camera, select the
  5. detection tool
  6. detector/sub-

  8. detector.
  9. Click the Remove Image Modified button.

    Note
    titleAttention!

    If you created sub-

  10. tools
  11. detectors for the

  12. detection tool
  13. detector, they also will be removed from the existing configuration.

  14. To save the changes, click the Apply Image Modified button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel Image Modified button.

Removing a detection tooldetector/sub-tool detector is complete. The removed detection tooldetector/sub-tool detector won’t be displayed below the camera in the objects tree.
